In responce to Kade. No you do not "Have" to be in an alliance to enter the elite missions. If you go to House of Zu or Cavalon you will prob see people messaging "Ferrying To Deep" (Cavalon Elite) or "Ferrying To Elite MIssion" (usualy Kurzick message) These are people who will take you to the elite mission staging area. All you do is team up with them and they zone everyone.
PS Be prepared for Mayhem when you enter..lol

No need to do that. Just leave one guy out before u fight the serpent.
Then the rest can go in and kill the twisted bark and the serpent down the ramp. Trust me, kill that twisted bark or you'll regret it when fighting Urgoz. After killing all of them, get the 11 guys to cross the bridge to face the double condition room and call in the guy waiting outside.
The 3 guy room requirement was correct a couple of weeks ago but not true anymore.

BTW, what's the fastest record to kill Urgoz? From start to finish...
Ours is 1 hour 58 min.

the beginning reminds me of a scene from LORT where you get attacked by a flood of what looks like orcish creatures... I frankly like the deep more and i've herd its more difficult... but after farming the hell out of it i need fresh meat.... only problem is no one is ever in Urgoz Warden

hi,made to boss last night in elite mission after about 3hrs .5 party members had left after about 1hr which makes it insane with just 7 i was only warrior,any tips for killing the boss with such a small group would be great

hey i got right 2 the end of this mission wih 8-9 ppl and we couldnt kill urgoz! we kept getting hit with exploding guys! couldnt moveat all lol any tips on how to kill him and those 2 nasty serphants? cheers

There's no storyline and no cutscenes. Basically you just have to kill everything.

The storyline of Urgoz that I can figure out from zone descriptions :
Urgoz is a forest spirit that was either evil or corrupted by the jade wind. Much like kanaxai, it exists deep in the roots of the forest and it's presence drives the fauna and Wardens insane (like kanaxai does ).
Basically it's a mirror of the luxon elite mission storyline.

Thats pretty good, around 20 minutes faster then mine... but Ive been having serious problems getting the people together for it.
My Deep time is creeping towards the 1hr 30min mark though.

Urgoz was the leader of the Warden's, a previously benign race who lived in harmony with the Kurzicks. They somehow went mad, I assume through the petrification, or a related event.

ive gotten about 1/2 way on the luxon one, gotten 2 zodiac staves. i plan on going to the kurzick side as well since i would like protector of cantha and cartographer anyway ill need to go over there i'd love to try out their elite mish. they are tons o' fun when you get a good group even if you don't make it all the way =D of course finding a good group is HARD!!

i dont think its possible to get to him in 1 hour and 30 mins??? I smell BS, but then again Some uber super duper PVP only build could probably do it! Yah right! Just to get to the wardens room would take you 2 hours!!!!!

ive been in urgoz two times now...
we always died at the warden bridge(first time coz we(PUG) didnt know they spawn there, second time coz we were already inside there, trying to kill the bark when they spawned)
any1 knows what causes them to spawn or how to avoid them?

whole party walkin into that room causes it. Leave one person behind untill you kill serpent inside and get past second bridge.
